According to Realtor.com, the two-floor apartment combines two separate units that Thurman purchased and renovated during her ownership from 2006 to 2016.
The “Pulp Fiction” and “Kill Bill” star initially bought the larger duplex on the eighth and ninth floors for $2.65 million (AUD$4 million) following her divorce from Ethan Hawke in 2005.
Thurman later expanded the property in 2012, purchasing a neighbouring single-floor unit for $1.55 million (AUD$2.4 million) and combining it with her extensively renovated duplex.
The actress ultimately sold the combined apartment in 2016 for $6.6 million (AUD$10 million).
The current owners were particularly drawn to the exclusive Gramercy Park access.

Chris Kann of Corcoran, shares the listing with colleague Jennifer Ireland.
According to Kann, the key to the park was “very appealing to the current owners, who were engaged in Gramercy Park and had been looking for the right apartment. When this came up, they jumped on it.”
Since purchasing the property, the current owners have made significant infrastructure improvements, including replacing the windows and air conditioning systems throughout the apartment.
The residence features generous proportions rarely found in downtown Manhattan prewar buildings.
With ten-foot ceilings enhancing the sense of space, the apartment also boasts one of the few terraces in the 1910 building, which primarily consists of duplexes.

The five-bedroom home includes a luxurious primary suite on the upper level with a hammam-inspired shower and separate soaking tub.
The portion of the apartment that Thurman added maintains its own entrance, creating a flexible space that could easily function as a separate in-law suite.
This flexibility adds to the property’s appeal, as the additional area currently houses a bedroom, library, and media room while maintaining the potential for privacy from the main living quarters.
