Tyson and Paris Fury cash in on UK seaside home

Heavyweight champion offloads six-bedroom Morecambe home for £700,000 (A$1.45m), banking a sizeable profit despite trimming the price.

World heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury and his wife, Paris, have sold their former family home in Morecambe, Lancashire, banking a significant profit despite agreeing to a reduced price.

The six-bedroom, three-bathroom property was listed on Rightmove for £800,000 (A$1.66 million).

Known for its dramatic interiors, including chandeliers, marble-effect bathrooms, bold diamond-pattern carpets, and even a portrait of Fury himself, the home also boasted sweeping views across Morecambe Bay.

The couple accepted an offer of £700,000 (A$1.45 million), about £100,000 below their original asking price.

Even so, they secured a healthy return on their investment, having bought the home in 2015 for £480,000 (A$996,000).

The sale follows the couple’s vow renewal in the south of France earlier in August and marks another chapter in the family’s property dealings.

The Sun reported the Furys relocated in 2020 to a nearby £1.7 million (A$3.53 million) mansion, motivated partly by privacy and security concerns, as seen in their Netflix series At Home with the Furys.

Despite their wealth and global profile, Fury has repeatedly expressed his attachment to the seaside town.

“People say to me, ‘Why don’t you live in California?’

But why would I? I would never leave Morecambe. It’s true beauty,” he said in an earlier interview.
