Mike Beardsley, ranked number one agent across his former 45-office network for five consecutive years, has launched Ray White Hawthorn on Glenferrie Road.
The move marks a significant play for Ray White in Melbourne’s premium inner-eastern corridor, bringing one of the city’s top performers into the fold at a purpose-built office in the heart of Hawthorn’s main retail strip.
Mike’s decision to partner with Ray White was driven by the group’s luxury market position and interstate buyer reach.
“Ray White gives me national and international reach that simply wasn’t available to me before,” Mike said.
The numbers support the strategy. Ray White sells 2.8 times more property above $5 million and 2.5 times more above $2 million than any other agency across Australia and New Zealand.
With data showing up to 20 per cent of Victorian buyers now coming from interstate, that network becomes a tangible listing advantage.
“My colleagues have relationships with these buyers with intimate detail on what they are looking for, matched with the incredible digital tech tool unique to Ray White,” Mike said.
Mike brings more than a decade of local market expertise to the new office. He has sold three times more homes than any other agent in Grace Park and Railway Estate – Hawthorn’s most prestigious pockets – over the past five years.
Before real estate, he held a senior role at a global company focused on sales management, marketing and negotiation.
“I’ve always had the vision since coming into real estate to run my office, and when the right people to partner with came up, it was a no brainer,” Mike said.
“Dan White is an incredibly successful and humble individual, as is Domenic Belfiore. They are driven, strategic and genuine people, making this venture something I want to be a part of.”
Ray White’s international offices in Hong Kong and the UAE also open direct channels to overseas buyers and expat investors returning to Melbourne – a demographic increasingly drawn to Boroondara’s combination of prestige, schools and city proximity.
Ray White Group Managing Director Dan White said Mike’s decision to partner with the group signalled his intent to bring something different to the market.
“This is a market that demands absolute excellence – in service, in technology, in reach – and that is precisely what we will deliver together,” Dan said.
Ray White Victoria CEO Domenic Belfiore was equally direct.
“Mike Beardsley is one of the finest real estate minds in the country. Full stop,” Domenic said.
“His opening Ray White Hawthorn is a win for buyers and sellers across Melbourne’s inner east, and a natural fit for our brand that has built its reputation at the premium end of the market.”
The office features a refreshed visual identity – lighter and more refined than traditional Ray White branding – designed to reflect the Hawthorn market while maintaining the group’s core recognition.
Ray White Hawthorn is open now at 713 Glenferrie Road.
