Hollywood star Sydney Sweeney may be adding another address to her growing property portfolio, with reports suggesting the Euphoria and The White Lotus actress recently toured Casa Contenta, a storied Bel Air estate now on the market for the first time in 80 years.

Known for her love of restoring old homes, Property Noise reported Sweeney’s interest has drawn attention back to one of Los Angeles’s most iconic time capsules.

Listed just shy of US$15 million, (AUD $22.5million) the 1930s-built residence was once a glittering social hub for high society under oilman David Daniel “Tex” Feldman and his wife, Jayne.

Guests over the years reportedly included Édith Piaf, Joan Crawford, Joan Collins, and Candy Spelling. Designed by Tom Douglas, the Hollywood Regency-style home still retains its mid-century glamour, having been featured in Architectural Digest in 1951.

Set on nearly two acres beside the Bel Air Country Club Golf Course, the pastel-pink compound spans around 8,200 square feet and features nine bedrooms in the main house, plus a two-bedroom guest apartment and a separate guesthouse.

Highlights include a red-and-green tented den opening to a terrace, a poolside ballroom and screening room, a gold-accented primary suite with a bespoke dressing room, a pool, and a tennis court.

Listing agent Josh Flagg of Compass describes it as “one of the great homes of Los Angeles, a cultural landmark that hasn’t been on the market in 80 years.”
