Jimmy Christiansen, whose career spans more than 25 years and includes credits on over 150 films, television shows and live action stunt productions, had been living at the absolute beachfront property at 21 Oak Street, Oak Beach with his wife Tiffany and their three children until two months ago.
Well-known for his work with major Hollywood names, Jimmy served as the Australian stunt co-ordinator on Ticket to Paradise, starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts.
He has also co-ordinated stunts for Russell Croweโs last three action films and spearheaded a high-profile campaign for the Australian Formula One Grand Prix, featuring Daniel Ricciardo racing an F1 car through the outback and along Grand Pacific Drive in New South Wales while trying to outpace a low-flying aerobatic plane.

Now based in Palm Beach, where the family owns another home, Jimmy said the decision to sell their Oak Beach property was driven by work opportunities centred on the Gold Coast.
โI was missing too much of my kids growing up while I was working on the Gold Coast,โ he said.
โOak Beach was our beachfront dream. We bought it in December 2023 and had started renovations, upgrading plumbing, electrics and a bathroom, but had to pause before the full renovation because of work.โ
Despite its incomplete makeover, Jimmy described the property as a ready-made family haven.

โWeโve got three young kids, so thereโs a beach cubby and a trampoline. Itโs set up perfectly for a family or couple. It was my place to retreat – my beach bubble.โ
Listed with Ray White Port Douglas principal Mark Flinn, the six-bedroom, four-bathroom property is being offered for over $1.799 million via private treaty.
Mark described the two-storey residence as a โtrue beachside sanctuaryโ with panoramic ocean views and an open-plan layout that blurs the line between indoor living and the surrounding coastal environment.

โThe open-plan living design enhances the connection to the spectacular natural surroundings and uninterrupted ocean views,โ he said. โItโs barefoot luxury in a secluded yet accessible location.โ
The 607sqm block includes a main residence and separate studio accommodation, along with wide verandahs designed to capture sea breezes from the Coral Sea.
Positioned just 15 minutes from Port Douglas and 45 minutes from Cairns International Airport, the property offers both convenience and privacy.
