A focus on business growth recently saw Savills Australia appoint David Howson as State Director to lead the Queensland business’ office leasing division.
Mr Howson joins Savills from Knight Frank, where he held the role of National Head Office Leasing, based in Sydney for the past three years, along with prior roles for Knight Frank and CBRE in Queensland.
Mr Howson is highly regarded within the industry, by both his peers and clients, and was awarded Dexus’ “Agent of the Year” in 2016.
“We are delighted to have secured someone of David’s caliber to lead our Queensland leasing team,” Savills Australia’s national head of Office Leasing, Graham Postma said.
“David will work closely with John McDonald and the broader team to significantly grow our market share and diversify our client base.”
Mr Howson will officially start in mid-October, initially based in the Savills Sydney office with a focus on strategic development, before relocating to Brisbane in early 2020.
“We are confident David will make a smooth transition into his new role and will lead our office leasing division with diligence and enthusiasm,” Savills Queensland Managing Director, Anthony Ott said.
