Rita Kennedy returns to Ray White Maroochydore full-time

Rita Kennedy has returned to Ray White Maroochydore in a full-time capacity, picking up where she left off in an office where she first made her name as part of one of its top-performing teams.

Rita began her career at Ray White Maroochydore while raising three young children. An opportunity took her away from the business, but with her children now older and her family living and working in the same market she sells in, she has made her way back.

Ray White Maroochydore and Buderim director and auctioneer Dan Sowden said her return was a highlight for the office.

“Rita is firstly an exceptional person. She brings a sense of calmness and experience to the buying and selling journey, and with that experience I’m confident she can guide her clients towards the most successful outcome while eliminating risks along the way,” Dan said.

“She earned her stripes here, and she did it while raising three young children. Agents who choose to come back are the strongest endorsement a business can get; Rita knows this market, she knows what we stand for, and our clients are the ones who benefit.”

Rita said the decision to return was straightforward once she committed to making Maroochydore her long-term focus.

“Ray White gives me the strength of a recognised brand and an incredibly strong local market presence, while still allowing me to build my own business and strengthen the relationships I already have within the community,” she said.

“Ray White’s market share in Maroochydore, together with the reach of the broader Coastal Living Network, means I can connect my sellers and buyers with a much wider network and greater market insights.”

Having entered real estate after having children, Rita is also keen to encourage more women into the industry.

“Real estate can be demanding, but it also offers flexibility and autonomy that can be incredibly valuable for mothers,” she said.

“I’ve learned that success isn’t about being available 24 hours a day. It’s about being organised, communicating well and following through for your clients.”

Ray White Maroochydore and Buderim is part of the Ray White Coastal Living Network, which spans five offices across the Sunshine Coast, including Mooloolaba, Kawana Waters and Nambour.
