Fellowship is awarded by the REIQ Board and reserved for practising members who have completed 15 years of membership and demonstrated what the Institute describes as exceptional commitment to the profession, professional conduct and REIQ’s values.

Antonia Mercorella, REIQ CEO, said the honour recognises careers that have stood the test of time.

“Fifteen years is a significant milestone in any real estate career,” Antonia said.

“Over that time, these professionals will have navigated changing market conditions, economic cycles, legislative reform and extraordinary events that have shaped our industry.

“It is that breadth of experience that helps shape seasoned professionals, but it’s their enduring commitment to professional excellence, continuous learning and the highest standards of conduct that defines their character.”

Antonia said this year’s Fellows come from all corners of Queensland, representing metropolitan, regional and coastal communities, and that while their individual careers and achievements may differ, they share a common commitment to lifting standards and strengthening the profession.

Fellows receive a formal certificate of Fellowship and are entitled to use the post-nominal FREIQ as a public mark of their standing.
