Mr Fitzgerald began his journey in real estate with the Malan family at Ray White in 2015 after leaving a career offshore on oil rigs in the Indian Ocean and Timor Sea – a bold move that paid off.
“When I made the switch to real estate, I didn’t have a backup plan – I was 100 per cent committed,” Mr Fitzgerald said.
โThe only option was to make it work, and I’ve never looked back.โ
The new partnership with the Malans marks a significant milestone for Mr Fitzgerald, who has built a strong reputation selling across Burleigh Heads and Burleigh Waters.
“I think, deep down, it was always a goal to one day become a business owner,” he said.
โNow that I’ve grown my sales business to the right level, I’m ready for the next challenge.
“We’ve got nine lead agents and our focus over the next year is on recruitment, increasing our market share, and building a high-performance team with a strong cultural fit.
“We want to be known as the office with the best agents – people who genuinely care about delivering great outcomes and building long-term community trust.”
Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew congratulated Mr Fitzgerald on the next step in his real estate journey.
“Troy’s journey is a perfect example of what can be achieved through hard work and unwavering commitment,” Mr Andrew said.
“His leadership and passion for the industry make him an outstanding addition to what is already a strong leadership team at Ray White Malan and Co, helping us further achieve our goal of best in market.”
