One of Victoria’s leading real estate agencies, hockingstuart, celebrated the achievements of its employees at the agency’s 2016 awards evening on August 11th, with its regional and outer suburban offices leading the charge.

Held at the Plaza Ballroom in Melbourne, the evening recognised the individual and office achievements for the past financial year, based on sales growth, market share and customer service.

This year’s award winners

Hockingstuart Rosebud, located on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula coastline, was crowned Franchise of The Year, earning the prestigious title as a result of 43 percent sales increase, a Vendor NPS of 49 and a Purchaser NPS of 36, outstanding customer service and staff engagement.

The big winner of the night was hockingstuart Melton. The office was awarded Customer Service Agency of the Year, while sales consultant Liliana Panaccio won Customer Service Agent of the Year. Senior Sales Consultant Joe Mavrikos was named Sales Agent of the Year, taking home four accolades in total.

The Property Management Employee of the Year award also went to Cheryl Mason, the General Manager of the Ballarat office, for her terrific work in the satellite city.

Hockingstuart Bentleigh sustained its stellar awards night reputation. Director Nick Renna was honoured with Sales Director of the Year while the agency overall was recognised for its leading market share of 15.5 percent in the area.

Expertise and commitment to customer service

Newly appointed hockingstuart CEO Simon Jovanovic said he was thoroughly impressed with the commitment and hard work of the group, particularly from the booming outer suburbs and regional areas, where over 50 percent of award winning offices are.

“Over the past financial year, the property spotlight has no doubt been on the regional and fringe markets,” said Mr Jovanovic.

“Data shows that suburbs on the Mornington Peninsula have outpaced Melbourne in terms of house price growth, Melton has exhibited capital growth of up to 20 percent over the past two years and Ballarat is seeing an influx of young families trading in the big smoke. Our offices in these regions are not just leveraging the demand for property, but are delivering an outstanding level of service to clients.”

“Since being at the helm of hockingstuart, I’ve visited all offices around the state and have been blown away by the extensive local market expertise and commitment to customer service upheld by the group, and commend each and every hockingstuart agent for their efforts this year.”
