Ray White has been bringing its auction floor to the crowd, running interactive bidding activations at Queensland Firebirds and Brisbane Lions games as part of its sponsorship deals with both organisations.

Ray White is a Premier Partner of the Firebirds and the official real estate partner of the Lions. Rather than sticking with standard game-day giveaways, the agency has been handing fans bidder paddles and running live auctions in the stands.

At two Firebirds home games at Nissan Arena, auctioneers Georgia Turner and Tara Burgin led fans through the activation, with cameras panning the crowd as supporters waved paddles, danced and cheered to be the last bidder on screen when the hammer fell. One winner took home a $500 Mastercard.

The activation moved to the Gabba for the Lions’ Round 16 clash against the Sydney Swans, where thousands of supporters picked up bidder paddles on their way into the ground before taking part in an auction hosted by Ray White auctioneer Tom Gunness.

Ray White Queensland chief executive Jason Andrew said the partnerships reflected shared values between the agency and the two sporting organisations.

“We’re proud to partner with organisations that share our relentless pursuit of high performance, teamwork, and being the best in market,” Jason said.

“Whether it’s on the netball court, the football field, or on the auction floor, true success comes down to preparation, teamwork, and driving maximum competition creation to deliver extraordinary results for our clients.”

“Auctions are a central pillar of our business. Being able to bring that energy, high intensity, and dominant auction culture to game day in a fun and engaging way is a fantastic opportunity. It’s been great to see fans of all ages embrace the experience,” he said.

Fans will get another chance to take part when the activation returns to the Gabba on 15 August for the Lions’ final home game of the season.
