Professionals Group boosts executive team

Professionals Group has appointed four new executives, including a member services specialist, digital marketing specialist and two business development managers.

The Announcement:

Professionals Group Australia has appointed four new executives to help its members and its network to expand further.

Professionals Chief Executive David Crombie said the network’s growth during the current real estate boom showed the attractiveness of the Professionals offering.

He said the four appointments showed the groupโ€™s commitment to further growing the demand and meeting the needs of its members.

Professionals Group Australia, which was founded by six independent real estate agents in Queensland in 1976, now has more than 230 agencies under its banner and is among the top 10 largest real estate networks in the country.

The network has now appointed a Member Services specialist, a Digital Marketing Co-ordinator and two more business development specialists in Queensland and Western Australia.

Digital marketing specialist Martina Conti has joined the Professionals after previously working with international publishing giant Random House and consumer goods company Johnson and Johnson.

In her role, Ms Conti will be working closely with all offices in the network educating them on best practice across social media, Google My Business, websites and assisting offices to manage their digital platforms.

โ€œReal estate is a very interesting industry because you are selling lifestyles, aspirations and dreams,โ€™โ€™ she said.

โ€œA lot of agents are very active on digital media, but it is not about quantity but rather it should be about quality.

โ€œYou have to ensure consistency with your branding and similarly the messaging has to be spot on.

โ€œItโ€™s exciting to a part of it all and with the tools that we are using, we are showing agencies how to track potential buyers online and track the movements of the target market down through the sales funnel.โ€

Member Services specialist Lauren Kelly has also joined the team. Sydney-born Ms Kelly is based in Brisbane but will be looking after member queries from across the country.

Ms Kelly says she loves working in the real estate industry because every day is different and the challenges she faces are always changing.

In Western Australia, the Professionals has appointed Vanessa Notarangelo as a Business Development manager.

Ms Notarangelo started her career in recruitment before making the switch to real estate in 2012.

The born and bred Western Australian has worked sales roles for agencies, developers, and builders previously and says she is looking forward to building an even stronger presence for the Professionals in Western Australia.

And in Queensland, Professionals have appointed real estate veteran Bill Woodard into a business development role.

Mr Woodard has worked for 12 years with a rival agency before making the switch to Professionals Australia Group.

Mr Woodard said agencies had experienced a major change in the market during the past 18 months with the biggest challenge now being able to find stock to sell.

โ€œMost owner occupiers are holding onto their properties, so we will be providing agencies and the support and marketing expertise to help them identify and develop potential sellers in the market.โ€
