PRD Tamworth is expanding its service area into Gunnedah, extending the agency’s reach across north-west NSW following its move into the Liverpool Plains market last year.
The expansion is being led by Principal and Director Mark Sleiman, alongside Sales Agent Isabel Davis, a long-time Gunnedah local whose family has been part of the community for more than 35 years.
According to PRD Research, Gunnedah’s median house price reached $580,000 in the March quarter of 2026, up 22.1 per cent over the year. The same research found limited new housing supply in the pipeline relative to current demand.
Rental yields in the town were sitting at 4.4 per cent as of March 2026, above the Tamworth LGA average of 4.1 per cent and well ahead of Sydney Metro’s 2.8 per cent, according to PRD’s findings. The release also points to about $79.8 million in developments scheduled to begin construction across Gunnedah between 2025 and 2027, spanning commercial, infrastructure and residential projects.
Mark Sleiman said the expansion was a deliberate extension of the business’s growth plans in the region.
“Expanding our services into Gunnedah is a natural extension of our growth strategy and strengthens our ability to support clients across the New England and North West regions,” he said.
“Following our success and experience in Tamworth and the Liverpool Plains, we identified Gunnedah as a natural fit for our business and values. We saw a clear opportunity to better service clients moving to and from the area while supporting out-of-town investors in a market with limited supply and strong demand.”
For Isabel Davis, the move has a personal dimension.
“For me personally, it was an easy decision. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. The town and its people have always felt like home,” she said.
“My family has been part of the Gunnedah community for more than 35 years and being able to bring PRD into the town means I can give back to the community that has given so much to us.”
Mark Sleiman said the local response since the announcement had been positive.
“The response from the Gunnedah community has been overwhelmingly positive and we have been genuinely humbled by the support and enthusiasm shown since announcing our expansion,” he said.
