Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s LA high-rise apartment listed for AUD $3.7 million

Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne may be gone, but a piece of his Los Angeles legacy is now up for grabs. The late musician’s sleek West Hollywood apartment, located in the star-studded Sierra Towers building, has been listed for sale just months after his death.

The late Ozzy Osbourne’s Los Angeles apartment has hit the market, just three months after the rock legend’s death.

Located in the celebrity-favourite Sierra Towers complex in West Hollywood, the one-bedroom residence carries an asking price of USD $2.4 million (AUD $3.7 million).

Osbourne and his wife Sharon, best known for The Osbourne’s reality series, purchased the unit in 2022 for USD $2.25 million (AUD $3.5 million), reports Architectural Digest.

Spanning around 1,200 square feet (111 square metres), the 10th-floor apartment features an open-plan design with pale timber finishes, a mirrored living area and full-height glass doors leading to a wide private terrace.

The galley kitchen includes a breakfast bar and glossy stone flooring, while the bedroom offers a walk-in wardrobe, built-in desk and a spa-style ensuite with forest-green tiling and dual vanities. Residents also enjoy 24-hour security, valet parking, a gym, pool and steam room.

The Osbournes owned two neighbouring units in the building, selling the larger one last year for USD $4.35 million (AUD $6.7 million).

Before being listed for sale, this apartment was offered for rent at USD $9,500 (AUD $14,700) per month.

Osbourne, who died on July 22 at the age of 76 following a heart attack in England, had already begun winding down his American property portfolio in recent years.

In 2022, he and Sharon listed their Mediterranean Revival-style Hancock Park mansion for USD $18 million (AUD $27.9 million).

The Sierra Towers property is being marketed by Jonah Wilson, Josh Greer and Rudy Serrato of Carolwood Estates, who describe the residence as offering “beautiful hillside views” and a rare opportunity to own part of LA’s rock and roll real estate history.
