Julia Haart’s towering Tribeca penthouse, once a central setting in her Netflix reality series, has reappeared for sale with a price tag of USD $65 million (AUD $100.7 million).
Set across two dramatic levels with abundant outdoor space and sweeping Hudson River views, the residence reflects the fashion executive’s flair for colour, texture and high-end detail.
The penthouse at 70 Vestry Street has been tied to both television and personal upheaval. Purchased in 2018 for USD 56 million (AUD 86.7 million) via an LLC controlled by Haart’s former husband, Silvio Scaglia, the home later became part of the pair’s acrimonious split. According to the NY Post, Haart now has full control of the property and continues to live there.

The residence featured prominently in My Unorthodox Life, where its vast windows, soaring volumes and terrace outlooks became part of the series’ visual signature.
Although technically a duplex, the home includes 3,687 square feet of outdoor space arranged across three tiers, including a private roof terrace with a full outdoor kitchen. Internally, the footprint spans 7,808 square feet, making it the largest penthouse in the building.
There are six bedrooms, six bathrooms, two powder rooms and two chef’s kitchens, all connected by a private lift. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame skyline and Hudson River views, while bespoke storage solutions run throughout the home.

Haart’s Personal Stamp
Haart reimagined the residence to reflect her own taste, transforming Scaglia’s former office into a den finished with Gucci seating, Haas Brothers pieces and a 102-inch screen.
Her art collection includes Mel Bochner’s Ha Ha Ha and a sculptural cutlery bouquet by Anne Carrington.
Design choices lean towards bold tones, including a dining room wrapped in deep red, and a two-sided fireplace connecting multiple living zones.
She also collaborated with an Italian company to create a unique rotating wardrobe system, which she describes as reminiscent of a dry-cleaner carousel with a more refined, custom approach.

The lower level opens from a private lift landing to a foyer and a vast corner great room with river views. A chef’s kitchen features custom cabinetry, a marble breakfast bar and direct access to a terrace for relaxed outdoor meals. A study, home office and generous storage spaces complete the floor.
Four additional bedrooms sit alongside the main suite, which offers a dressing room and windowed ensuite.
Upstairs, a 670-square-foot great room includes high ceilings and a sculptural ceramic fireplace by Brooklyn artist Peter Lane. This level also contains a library, solarium and another kitchen — all flowing to a broad terrace.
Two parking spaces and a dedicated storage unit form part of the sale.
Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group holds the listing.
