McGrath Estate Agents held its annual Awards Night in Sydney last week with over 900 people from the network in attendance. The event recognises the achievements of top performing agents, property managers, offices and operational staff throughout the company.
McGrath Terrigal agent Mat Steinwede was the big winner of the night, taking out both the Regional Agent of the Year and the coveted Agent of the Year award. Mr Steinwede said that being awarded the number one agent for McGrath was, “An honour and a reflection of how much I care about my clients”.
McGrath Founder and Executive Director John McGrath said, “It was wonderful to celebrate our 30th year in business by acknowledging some of the best real estate people on the planet.
“The bar is very high to win an award but that’s what our team love about being in a high-performance culture. At the end of the day, it’s about serving our loyal customers. And that’s the real celebration that we spoke of during the night.”
More than 700 nominations were received from across the network for the 21 award categories.
McGrath Neutral Bay was honoured for Overall Office Excellence – Metro, while McGrath Geelong received the Regional title for Office Excellence. McGrath Avalon achieved the Fastest Growing Office award.
Projects Agents of the Year was awarded to Dennis Vertzayias and James Lampropoulos, and New Agent of the Year to Domenic Maxwell of McGrath Wahroonga.
Commenting on the company’s 30th anniversary, Mr McGrath said he was excited for the future and looking forward to celebrating the company’s 40th and 50th anniversaries.
