The possibility of a merger between Jean Brown Properties and The Catanzariti Family Group provided an unprecedented opportunity to combine their talents under a single real estate brand.
The Announcement:
With the pop of the champagne, and the raising of glasses, it was the beginning of a new relationship for two of the Gold Coast’s top-performing real estate businesses. The celebration this week marked the joining of the prominent real estate families, with the merger of The Ray White Catanzariti Family Group, and Jean Brown Properties.
The decision for the families to team-up under The Catanzariti Family Group’s established Ray White umbrella, comes after months of planning between The Group’s Principal and Director; Peter Catanzariti, and Jean Brown; the Director of Jean Brown Properties.
‘We are excited to welcome Jean and her team to our family’, Peter said.
Peter and Jean are aligned in their view towards business growth, as well as the way they operate in the real estate industry, which has helped pave the way towards a smooth merger.
‘Peter and I are very similar in the way we do business,’ Jean said, ‘we both have strong ethics and share the same principles when it comes to our team and our clients’.
Jean established her real estate business in 2009, initially focusing on property management services. In recent years the business expanded into residential sales with the help of part-owner and Sales Director, Jody Young.
‘Our goal was never to grow to be the largest’, Jean said, ‘but we wanted to be the best, and provide the absolute best service and the highest value to our clients’.
As long-time competitors, the prospect of merging Jean Brown Properties with The Catanzariti Family Group created an unprecedented opportunity to bring together their expertise under the one real estate brand.
‘Jean has been a strong competitor, setting high standards in our area for many years,’ Peter said, ‘so it really is an asset to have her and her team onboard’.
Operating under ‘Ray White’—Australia’s largest real estate network—Peter and Jean will take advantage of the technological systems and support offered under the Ray White banner. They believe that the combination of unrivaled training and state-of-the-art technology will set the Ray White Catanzariti Family Group apart.
‘We’re able to offer significant advantages to our team and our clients’, Peter said, ‘it’s a true world-class service’.
Jean believes that the support of Ray White and the merge with The Group will allow her team to grow and provide more value to their clients. The Catanzariti Family Group currently has a large rent roll under its wings; and with a hefty rent roll coming across with Jean Brown, The Group is predicted to be the largest provider of property management services on the northern Gold Coast.
With the merger taking effect from December 1st, Peter and Jean are excited about their shared vision, and about what they have in store for their team and their clients.
‘Our vision is to reinvent the concept of real estate’, Peter said.
‘For some, real estate is just business, but to us it’s all about family.’
Already supporting 75 local families with employment, The Ray White Catanzariti Family Group will be welcoming all team members from Jean Brown Properties. Jean will continue after the merger in her new role as Growth Managerfor The Group, and Jody Young will continue in sales.
‘I am looking forward to exploring future acquisition and growth opportunities, and I am excited to see what I can achieve with the support of Ray White’s branding’, she said.
There is plenty to celebrate looking to the future as the Gold Coast’s top sales and property management agencies unite with a view to providing an encompassing sales and property management business, offering clients a first-class experience every step of the way.
‘I’m looking forward to truly living and extending on that mentality of providing a boutique service, with world-class, big-brand backing,’ Peter said.
The collaboration is set to create ground-breaking opportunities for staff, investors, and locals, with the revamped Ray White Catanzariti Family Group expected to really put the northern Gold Coast on the map.
Peter and Jean are certain that the merger will be the first of many celebrations as they head into the future with their eyes set firmly on what Peter believes is ‘the potential for infinite success in the real estate industry’.
‘I have a strong feeling that we will be popping the champagne together to celebrate many more achievements, for many years to come’, he said.
