Industry icon Tony Abboud and his team join The Agency

The Agency has welcomed the news renowned Sydney agent Tony Abboud and his team are set to join the growing brand.

With 41 years experience in the industry as a successful business owner, property consultant, trainer and mentor, Mr Abboud is considered a true industry legend, The Agency explained.

Mr Abboud’s Snowden Parkes brand has been a dominant force in the North West corridor of Sydney over the last 20 years, operating across Ryde, Parramatta and the Hills Shire.

In significant news for The Agency, Mr Abboud and his team are joining the brand, launching The Agency operation from Gladesville through to Parramatta.

“Tony Abboud is an admired figure in the real estate industry, with decades of experience his knowledge, ethical standards and business acumen are revered. The Agency is gaining an extraordinary asset in Tony Abboud,” The Agency’s Real Estate CEO Matt Lahood said.

“Tony and his team, including powerhouse sales manager Melissa Iosifidis, are a formidable force in the region and we are honoured they will be taking The Agency brand into the North West corridor of Sydney – an important market segment in the brand’s expansion plans.”

Along with providing outstanding sales and property management services to his locality, Mr Abboud has worked closely with local and state government in a consultancy capacity, held key roles within business and industry bodies and is a Justice of the Peace.

“I have always believed in leading by example and that has gone beyond my own business. Maintaining genuine community connections has been essential and I have been heavily involved with local councils, business chambers and industry organisations. It is important to give back,” Mr Abboud explained.

Mr Abboud said his decision to join The Agency brand was about “future proofing” his business for both his team and his clients.

“COVID-19 gave my sales manager Melissa and I the opportunity to assess the business and consider what the future of the industry would look like, we assessed our team’s needs and our client’s needs,” Mr Abboud said.

“We recognised that by joining The Agency, a national brand with a unique platform, we could future proof our business.”

At the heart of this future proofing process was the recognition Mr Abboud’s team needed to focus their energy in the right direction, enabling them to take full advantage of the opportunities in the market.
