Harcourts International has appointed two of its senior Australian executives to global leadership positions, with Teagan Seccombe taking on events and partnerships across the trans-Tasman network and Karmen Costigan leading property management strategy worldwide.

Teagan, previously Head of Events for Australia, will now oversee all events and business partner relationships across New Zealand and Australia.

She has more than a decade of experience in international markets and has been responsible for flagship conferences and multi-million-dollar event budgets.

“I am passionate about designing experiences that matter – those that elevate leadership, reinforce culture, and move organisations forward,” Teagan said.

“My approach has always been collaborative and grounded in building strong relationships with our stakeholders and partners, and I am thrilled to bring this focus to our broader trans-Tasman network.”

Karmen moves from Head of Property Management for Australia to lead property management strategy across Harcourts’ global network.

She brings more than two decades of industry experience to the role and will focus on team development, training programmes, and client experience.

“The property management landscape is evolving rapidly, and the businesses that succeed are those willing to innovate, invest in their people, and implement best practices,” Karmen said.

“I am excited to take what we have built in Australia to the global stage and work alongside our international teams to continue raising the bar.”

Mike Green, Managing Director of Harcourts International, said promoting from within was central to the company’s culture.

“Whilst we are always thrilled to welcome brilliant new talent into the Harcourts family, there is nothing quite as rewarding as watching our own people grow and step into global leadership roles,” Mike said.

“Promoting from within ensures that the passion, institutional knowledge, and deep-seated values of our brand are carried forward as we continue to expand and innovate worldwide.”
