Experienced Ray White leader heads back into the field

ONE of the top leaders in the Ray White Group, Andrew Crauford, is heading back to his beloved Hills district as a sales agent after a successful two year stint running Ray White’s 90-strong office network in Sydney Metro.

Mr Crauford, husband to Emma and father to three sons, is excited about the prospect of servicing the needs of the Cherrybrook community again after his term as CEO of the NSW Metro network.

“It’s time to head back into the field and I am excited about the future,” said the 41-year-old, who had been the number one Ray White agent in Cherrybrook, where his business held 28 per cent market share up until two years ago when he moved into his corporate role.

Mr Crauford, who has 12 years real estate sales and business ownership experience, following a 12 year career as an advertising media strategist, is now on the hunt for a willing and keen associate.

“I know how to operate at a high level and I have high expectations of myself. I am keen to build a team since making the decision to resume under the Ray White brand with my old partners at Ray White Cherrybrook |Thornleigh | West Pennant Hills, located centrally in Pennant Hills, as a sales and marketing professional,” Mr Crauford said.

“There is no better brand than Ray White for its tools and support and I while am grateful to the White family for my time in a leadership role, I am keen to get back into the field.”

Cherrybrook – in Sydney’s north west – has traded $250M of property in the last 12 months and is made up of 6,200 freestanding homes of diverse values, complemented by great parks, bush-walking, upgraded shopping facilities and three retirement villages.

Cherrybrook Technology High School remains in the top five non-selective state high schools which was prized by parents who need to live in the catchment so their children could attend the sought-after campus.

“I feel invigorated and I am so keen to get back on the tools. Just yesterday I was grabbing a coffee in the main shopping centre and I met an old vendor plus a previous landlord, all of a sudden I was back reconnecting with my old clients and people that I count as friends,” Mr Crauford said.

“I have never stopped looking at Cherrybrook and seeing who is selling what. It’s been amazing to watch the suburb from a different view, having kept a very close eye on it and it’s true, I have missed it and have a clear view on how to achieve the best for my clients.

“I love real estate. It’s definitely a people business. There is such an intimacy in being invited into someone’s life and home – during what can be a stressful period – to discuss their property ambitions.

“It’s an enormous privilege to help someone trade their largest asset. My desire to help people ensures I will give people the right guidance, that is who I am. I enjoy that role and with age comes experience.”

Ray White Group director Dan White thanked Mr Crauford for his hard work and dedication over the last two years. Under Mr Crauford’s leadership, six new businesses were opened across the network and there was a steady increase in the brand’s market share while so many other brands were in decline.

“Andrew has been a long term member of our Ray White family and we are happy to see him move back into his natural heartland,” he said.

“The Cherrybrook community is lucky to have him and his clients will quickly realise what an authentic and natural operator he is, full of style, class and integrity. We are right behind him and wish him well.”
