The historic Beecroft Post Office has been given a new lease on life, with Di Jones Real Estate set to open the doors to its new home on Saturday, 2 December 2017.
Di Jones CEO Rob Ward said the BPO has always been a meeting place for the local community and the team at Di Jones want this to continue.
“The architecture and character of the building, which features unique rendered columns and classical portico features, is synonymous with our company’s branding and follows the recent opening of our Southern Highlands office in a colonial workers cottage in Bowral,” Mr Ward said.
“It was the first purpose-built postal facility in the area and has operated for the last 20 years as the BPO Restaurant & Wine Bar.”
The Inter War period heritage listed building was designed by Neil Madson and built in 1923 by E Henderson.
“Its classical style and prominent position make the building a major contributor to the Beecroft streetscape, which was of great appeal.
“Di Jones is the first real estate agency to occupy this space and the new site will boast a state of the art boardroom and conferencing facilities, open workspaces and private meeting rooms.
“The new office will bring the Di Jones’ teams from across the Northern Suburbs together under one roof and will house over 30 real estate professionals.
“While the Di Jones brand has been represented in the Beecroft area since 2015, Di Jones has a strong footprint with some of the members of the Beecroft team having serviced the area for more than 30 years.
“The opening will feature a gelato cart, face painting for children, cupcakes, balloons and the local team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the integration of two teams and what that means for local property owners,” Mr Ward said.
Mr Matt Kean, Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation and Liberal Member for Hornsby, will be there to officially cut the ribbon.
The new Di Jones Beecroft office is located at 95A Beecroft Road, Beecroft.
The Di Jones brand is celebrating 25 years in 2017 and together with the flagship Woollahra office, which services the Eastern Suburbs and Inner West markets, the Di Jones network now includes offices in Wahroonga on Sydney’s North Shore and Bowral in the Southern Highlands.
