Dean Pieroz has taken over as owner of Ray White Asset Management Alexandra Hills, stepping into the role previously held by his mother and long-time business partner, Cathy Pieroz.
Cathy originally opened the business before Dean joined her in 2012. She will remain part of the team as the agency moves into its next phase.
Dean’s real estate career began more than 12 years ago, when he spent two years door-knocking across Alexandra Hills while completing business marketing studies.
He moved into the role full-time in 2014, the same year he listed his first property, and has stayed with the same office and community ever since.
He has personally door-knocked every street in the suburb more than once, building relationships with first-home buyers, families and long-term locals.
“I’ve been fortunate to work alongside my mum since day dot, and while taking over the business is a major step, I’m set to embrace what’s ahead,” Dean said.
“I’ve watched what’s involved in running a business first-hand through various market cycles over more than a decade.”
“For me, there is still a fair bit to learn, so my focus is on getting systems fully underway, understanding operations inside and out, acquiring new sales talent, and actively growing our rent roll.”
Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew said Dean’s journey showed what disciplined, localised execution looked like.
“We are fully behind Dean as he steps into leadership, raises the benchmark and drives Ray White Asset Management Alexandra Hills into its next growth phase,” Jason said.
