Da Nang adventure for the best of REMAX

This year REMAX Australia took its selected elite to Vietnam to experience three days of professional stimulation at the Platinum + event.

REMAX Australia invited the top performers in its sales force to participate in a forum of shared knowledge and experiences each year.

Managing Director Joel Davoren said the 2025 event was tailored exclusively for REMAX high achievers with a speaker lineup that inspired, delivered actionable insights, and energised members to take things to the next level in their business.

“Real estate sales is not an easy career path. It is demanding emotionally and physically, and on your time,” he said.

“Reactive businesses and agents will often struggle in our industry; and instead, they need strategies for cultivating, nurturing personal leadership and resilience.

“This event was designed to provide frameworks for such strategies and to give our top performers the best platform to broaden their business outlook and thrive in 2025 and beyond.”

Ben and Nola Kloppers kicked off the speaker line up on Day 1.

The Kloppers are a powerhouse duo who have been shaking up the New Zealand real estate scene since 2001, building a high-performing business and an unshakable brand.

When they launched REMAX Warkworth In 2016, their impact was immediate. Within just one year, they catapulted their office into the top four offices in the New Zealand network.

Together, they have built a reputation for delivering outstanding results and providing an unparalleled real estate experience and they are consistently recognised as the #1 sales team in the country.

They’ve brought an incredible energy from farming in Zimbabwe to leading a top-tier real estate business, in proof that bold moves and relentless drive pay off.

At Platinum plus Forum, they took the audience inside their journey, both professional and personal, sharing the strategies, challenges and game-changing insights they’ve learned along the way.

The second speaker, Alex Porter, lives and breathes Brisbane’s northside, having sold locally for the past 19 years, through the suburbs of Aspley, Geebung, Zillmere and Carseldine.

Both a leading Brisbane sales agent who was named a Real Estate Business Top 50 Agent 2024 and a selling principal, she shared how the support of a dedicated team, attention to detail and effective communication, and genuine involvement with local community events, organisations and schools help her to achieve record-breaking results and premium selling prices for her clients.

Alex delivered the real, the raw, and the no sugar-coated truth about what it takes to succeed in this industry, giving REMAX agents practical insights, honest reflections and strategies they could take straight back to their business.

The final speaker in the two-day conference was global endurance athlete, Tim Franklin.

Dubbed Australia’s Forrest Gump, Tim has run across five continents, turning an extraordinary feat of endurance into a global story of resilience, transformation, and the human spirit.

His journey is a powerful testament to grit, determination, and purpose.

In his session, Tim shared the lessons that fuelled his global run and his personal battles, his message both inspiring and empowering.

“Your life is your show, and you are the only one responsible for how it plays out,” Tim said.

High achievers and business owners Tristan Brown, REMAX Property Sales, and Leanne Bojarski, REMAX On Point, joined Alex Porter for a ‘Journey of growth’ panel session on the first day, sharing what’s worked, what hasn’t, and how they have adapted along the way.

Then on day two, for ‘How to structure time, manage energy, and build strong teams that get results’, Melina MacNellie-Verral, REMAX Property Professionals, joined Tim Franklin and Ben Kloppers to make up the panel.

The annual Platinum + Forum is provided exclusively for REMAX high achievers and is a ‘by invitation only’ event.

“Not all invited could make it but 50 soaked up the beautiful location, Hyatt Regency Da Nang Resort & Spa,” Joel Davoren said.

“We seek out memorable spots each year, but we also produce an event that reminds our high achievers it is always possible to improve and take their business to the next level.

“The feedback has been incredible, and it appears we raised the bar even higher with this event.”
