Christina Ricci lists home amid family crisis following LA wildfires

Actress Christina Ricci is parting ways with her architectural Silver Lake, Los Angeles home, listing the property for $4.175 million (approx. AUD $6.26 million).

The decision comes in the wake of the Los Angeles wildfires earlier this year, which displaced a member of Ricci’s family according to People.

She is now seeking a larger home to accommodate them long-term, listing agent, Lorraine Getz from Compass confirmed.

The three-bedroom, four-bathroom residence spans 3,396 square feet and boasts panoramic views of Downtown LA and the San Gabriel Mountains.

“This property is truly one of a kind and homes like this don’t come along often, especially in Silver Lake,” listing agent Ms Getz told People.

“What makes this home so special is the attention to detail—from the thoughtful layout that maximizes light and space to the well-crafted floor plan.”

Inside, the home features a dramatic glass catwalk, an open-concept living area with a sleek fireplace, and walls of sliding glass that open to a private deck and rooftop terrace.

The chef’s kitchen is equipped with a Sub-Zero fridge, Miele appliances, a built-in coffee station, and a custom centre island that flows into the dining area.

The primary suite includes a fireplace, spa-like bathroom, walk-in closet, and a full glass wall that opens to a private balcony. Two additional en-suite bedrooms and a designer laundry room complete the lower level. Outside, residents can enjoy a pool, spa, and manicured grounds with citrus trees and artificial turf.

“This home is all about the views—some of the best in Silver Lake,” said Ms Getz.

“The rooftop deck takes it to another level.”

Ms Ricci’s decision to sell follows the devastating wildfires that ignited on January 7 and raged for weeks, forcing thousands to evacuate. The Eaton and Palisades fires, two of the largest blazes, were fully contained by January 31.
