Christina Ricci lists home amid family crisis following LA wildfires

Actress Christina Ricci is parting ways with her architectural Silver Lake, Los Angeles home, listing the property for $4.175 million (approx. AUD $6.26 million).

The decision comes in the wake of the Los Angeles wildfires earlier this year, which displaced a member of Ricciโ€™s family according to People.

She is now seeking a larger home to accommodate them long-term, listing agent, Lorraine Getz from Compass confirmed.

The three-bedroom, four-bathroom residence spans 3,396 square feet and boasts panoramic views of Downtown LA and the San Gabriel Mountains.

โ€œThis property is truly one of a kind and homes like this donโ€™t come along often, especially in Silver Lake,โ€ listing agent Ms Getz told People.

โ€œWhat makes this home so special is the attention to detailโ€”from the thoughtful layout that maximizes light and space to the well-crafted floor plan.โ€

Inside, the home features a dramatic glass catwalk, an open-concept living area with a sleek fireplace, and walls of sliding glass that open to a private deck and rooftop terrace.

The chefโ€™s kitchen is equipped with a Sub-Zero fridge, Miele appliances, a built-in coffee station, and a custom centre island that flows into the dining area.

The primary suite includes a fireplace, spa-like bathroom, walk-in closet, and a full glass wall that opens to a private balcony. Two additional en-suite bedrooms and a designer laundry room complete the lower level. Outside, residents can enjoy a pool, spa, and manicured grounds with citrus trees and artificial turf.

โ€œThis home is all about the viewsโ€”some of the best in Silver Lake,โ€ said Ms Getz.

โ€œThe rooftop deck takes it to another level.โ€

Ms Ricciโ€™s decision to sell follows the devastating wildfires that ignited on January 7 and raged for weeks, forcing thousands to evacuate. The Eaton and Palisades fires, two of the largest blazes, were fully contained by January 31.
