‘Bridesmaids’ mansion breaks sales record with $20.5M off-market deal

The lavish estate from the hit comedy changed hands for the first time in 26 years.

The grand Pasadena estate made famous by Bridesmaids has just shattered the city’s sales record, selling off-market for US$20.5 million (approx. AUD$30.9 million).

It’s the highest recorded sale in the Los Angeles-adjacent suburb’s history, topping a previous $19.85 million benchmark set just last month.

Fans of the 2011 hit film will instantly recognise the European-style chateau as the setting for Helen Harris III’s lavish bridal shower – the very scene where Kristen Wiig’s character, Annie, famously loses her cool over puppies, chocolate fountains, and Parisian themes.

The estate features 10 bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a castle-like design with brick-and-stone exteriors, coffered ceilings, and Gothic-style windows.

The home isn’t just famous for its role in Bridesmaids. it’s also appeared in Rush Hour, The Campaign, and classic TV shows like Murder, She Wrote.
