BresicWhitney has been named the inaugural Real Estate Partner of Sydney Contemporary, described as Australasia’s leading contemporary art fair, as the event celebrates its tenth year.

Held annually at Carriageworks, Sydney Contemporary brings together more than 100 galleries and artists working across painting, sculpture and works on paper, alongside dedicated programs including Photo Sydney, Installation Contemporary, Performance Contemporary and Talks.

The new partnership builds on an existing relationship between BresicWhitney and the fair, in which the agency previously served as an ambassador.

It will now extend to digital and on-site branding, exclusive hospitality, ticketing and content, drawing on the audiences of both organisations.

BresicWhitney says it has a track record of backing Sydney’s creative communities, from grassroots initiatives through to partnerships with established state institutions.

BresicWhitney CEO Will Gosse said supporting the city’s arts and cultural communities remained a priority for the business.

“Sydney is shaped by its culture, and we’ve always seen our role as being an active part of that, not just observers of it,” Will said.

“The partnership allows us to celebrate the artists, galleries and individuals dedicated to bringing Sydney Contemporary to life, while offering meaningful experiences for our people and clients.”

Zoe Paulsen, Fair Director of Sydney Contemporary, said the pairing reflected common ground between the two fields.

“Art and real estate go hand-in-hand because both are ultimately about creating a sense of place, connection, and identity,” Zoe said.

“We both recognise the important role creativity plays in shaping great cities and communities.

“This partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting Sydney’s cultural landscape while helping us connect more people with the artists, galleries and ideas that define contemporary art today.”

Sydney Contemporary is presented in partnership with MA Financial Group and runs from 3–6 September 2026.
