PRD Tweed Coast has entered an exciting new chapter with the appointment of Brent Osborne as Principal.
A seasoned business owner with a passion for growth and leadership, Mr Osborne brings fresh energy and vision to the Tweed Coast team after previously owning a successful real estate office in Bathurst.
The previous owners of PRD Tweed Coast, Joe Taylor and Jason Abbott, will continue to lead the PRD Coolangatta office, with Mr Taylor also remaining active at PRD Tweed Coast, refocusing on sales.
Mr Osborne made the move north in search of a new challenge and lifestyle, drawn to the established success and future potential of the Tweed Coast office.
“There’s no motivator quite like stepping into a new market with a bold vision,” Mr Osborne said.
“I’ve always been driven by growth; personally, professionally, and for the people around me. PRD Tweed Coast offered the perfect blend of established success and future potential.
“It’s a privilege to lead this team and continue building something remarkable.”
Mr Taylor said Brent was a natural fit from the first meeting, aligning perfectly with their requirements for the transition.
“We had two non-negotiables when considering the sale: the team had to stay, and the office had to remain a PRD franchise,” Mr Taylor said.
“Brent was looking for a well-established business with great people and a solid brand behind it, so it made good sense for all of us.
“After our first meeting, it was clear Brent was the right person.”
Established in 2003, PRD Tweed Coast has been a cornerstone of the PRD network for over 20 years. It was the second office opened by Mr Taylor, Mr Abbott, and their former partner, following the success of PRD Coolangatta.
“We wanted to expand our PRD presence on the Tweed Coast,” Mr Taylor said.
“We were already seeing strong interest from sellers, but the lack of a local office was holding us back. Opening in Kingscliff allowed us to meet that demand and grow our footprint.”
Mr Osborne has been energised by the support he’s received since joining PRD and spoke proudly of the network’s culture.
“After my first meeting with Joe, it was clear PRD was something special,” Mr Osborne said.
“He spoke about the strength of the group, the collaborative culture, and the incredible presence PRD has built on the Tweed Coast over the past two decades.
“That first impression has held true; it’s been a fantastic experience so far, and I’m genuinely proud to be part of the PRD network.”
