Billy Joel lists his Long Island mega-estate (again) for $45 Million, and it comes with a piano-shaped pool

Billy Joel is once again trying to sell his sprawling Long Island estate, putting the Centre Island property known as Middle Sea back on the market for USD $29.9 million (around AUD $45.2 million).

The Piano Man first bought the property in 2002 for USD $22.5 million and has listed it multiple times over the past 15 years, with earlier price tags reaching as high as USD $37.5 million.

NY Post reported the 14-acre waterfront compound sits in the exclusive Centre Island enclave of New York’s Nassau County, offering sweeping views of Oyster Bay Harbour.

At its heart is a 20,000-square-foot main residence that includes five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a ballroom-sized living area.

The standout feature? A piano-shaped swimming pool – fitting for one of music’s most iconic entertainers.

Additional amenities on the estate include a spa, wine cellar, bowling alley, helipad, floating dock, and private beach.

The lush, manicured grounds and classic brick architecture lend the property both grandeur and privacy, qualities that have long appealed to celebrities and affluent buyers in the area.

Joel has made several attempts to offload the estate, previously putting it on the market in 2018 for USD $37.5 million, before removing it after it failed to sell.

The current listing comes as Joel prepares to wrap up his record-breaking residency at Madison Square Garden this July.
