The offices are all expansions from existing Barry Plant business owners and are not re-brands.

Victorian real estate group, Barry Plant, has added four more offices over the last two months.
All new offices are expansions from business owners already within the group.
While the group is always willing to welcome a good business to their network, Barry Plant CEO, Nigel O’Neil, says that growth from within is special.
‘When a current Barry Plant office owner decides to take the risk and expand by opening another office, we can’t help but be thrilled that they are so confident in our business model that they are prepared to continue to put their future success in our brand,” Nigel explains.
The four new offices at Macleod, Yarraville, Maryborough and Yarra’s Edge are all start-up offices, not re-brands.
“The fact that they already know our systems means that they can very quickly build success. Our brand is well known and respected and that helps and of course we put considerable resources into helping the offices through any teething issues.”
The office in Macleod, headed up by David Moxon in partnership with Michael Eagen, Jay Moxon and Brayden Schmitt, is the fourth office that David has opened with Barry Plant.
The Macleod location is a natural extension of the territory he already covers in Bundoora, Mill Park and Greensborough.
They already have good market share in the area, and a physical office is expected to solidify their dominance.
The new Yarraville office is a sister office to the nearby Sunshine operation with business owner Jason Allen believing the brand will translate well into this wealthier suburb.
The Yarra’s Edge office is the second office of Daniel Cole who runs a successful Docklands office under the Barry Plant brand.
Docklands, close to Melbourne Central, is made up of mainly waterfront apartments but suffered greatly during the pandemic as students and international business people, the normal denizens, were kept out by our borders closing.
But the area is once again thriving to the point where Daniel believes a second office is needed.
As branch manager for the new office, Daniel has recruited highly respected real estate stalwart, Geoff White.
Geoff was twice president of the REIV and has served the real estate industry well in many capacities.
The Maryborough office is an hour’s drive north of Ballarat.
Barry Plant Ballarat director, Yvonne Jackson, sees great potential in an historic goldfields town that has seen numerous new housing developments to take advantage of the demands of tree-changers.
Born and bred Maryborough local, Lynelle Trickey, is stepping in as Branch Manager – thrilled to take the Barry Plant brand to her hometown.
