Robert Tulp, New Zealand’s reigning national auctioneering champion, has been appointed Head of Auctions and Campaign Performance at Ray White A T Realty Group.
Robert won the REINZ National Auctioneering Championship in both 2024 and 2025. He brings more than three decades of real estate experience to the role, having worked across sales, management, business ownership, mentoring and auctioneering since 1992.
The appointment comes as the group expands its Auckland footprint.
A T Realty recently acquired the Ray White Auckland Central and Wynyard Quarter offices, extending its reach beyond its South Auckland origins.
Over 14 years, the operation has grown from a team of three in Manukau to more than 200 people across six Auckland locations.
Adam Thomson, Director of Ray White A T Realty Group, said the hire signals the group’s ambitions.
“Appointing Robert is a statement about where this business is going. We have built something significant across Auckland, and to attract a back-to-back REINZ national auctioneering champion – exclusively – at this point in your growth tells you everything about the calibre of operation we are building.”
Fellow director Tom Rawson said Robert’s reputation speaks for itself.
“He is someone the best agents in New Zealand want to work alongside, and that is exactly the kind of environment we are committed to building here.”
Robert said the move builds on an existing relationship.
“I called auctions for A T Realty during the Covid years and saw first-hand what Adam, Tom and this team were building, even through the toughest conditions the industry has faced. What they have created here is genuinely exciting.”
The group facilitates around 2,000 property transactions annually and has won consecutive REINZ Agency of the Year titles in 2024 and 2025.
Robert will join the group in May 2026.
