Alessandra Knez joins Harcourts as property operations manager

Harcourts has appointed Alessandra Knez as property operations manager for Harcourts Victoria and Harcourts SA, adding a new layer of support to its national property management network.

Alessandra brings 15 years of real estate experience, built largely around property management operations, leadership and team development. She was recognised as Property Management of the Year in both 2025 and 2026, an achievement she credits to the teams and clients behind those results.

Beyond real estate, Alessandra is a certified life and mindset coach, breathwork practitioner and Master NLP Practitioner, with a focus on the connection between mindset, leadership and performance.

In her new role, she will work with offices and property management professionals across Victoria and South Australia.

Karmen Costigan, Head of Property Management at Harcourts, said Alessandra’s mix of industry knowledge and coaching experience would add a valuable dimension to the team.

“Alessandra understands property management from the inside, but she also brings a real focus on the people behind the business,” Karmen said.

“Our Property Operations Managers are there to work alongside offices, understand what they need and help them navigate challenges and opportunities. Alessandra’s experience in coaching and professional development will be a real strength in helping people build their capability and confidence.”

Harcourts Victoria CEO Adam Fiteni said the appointment would provide another layer of practical support for Victorian offices and their property management teams.

“Property management is a demanding part of the real estate business, and the right support can make a significant difference to the way teams operate and develop,” Adam said.

Harcourts South Australia CEO Heather Edwards said Alessandra’s coaching background would complement relationships already established across the South Australian network.

“What I like about Alessandra’s approach is that she is genuinely interested in helping people grow,” Heather said.

“She brings the experience to understand the property management side of the business, but also the ability to work with people, ask the right questions and help them find their own path forward.”

For Alessandra, the move brings together two strands of her career.

“I’ve spent 15 years in real estate and built my career in property management, and I still love it,” she said.

“For me, great property management starts with mindset and connection. I’m excited to bring that experience into a corporate role where I can work with offices and teams at a broader level, help people build their confidence and capability, and support them to perform at their best.”
