According to Mansion Global, the Grammy-winning artist originally purchased the 3,000-square-foot luxury apartment in 2012 for $5.9 million (AUD$8.9 million) through an LLC, according to property records.Â
The recent sale comes after Martin listed the property in September for $6.45 million (AUD$9.7 million).
This wasn’t the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer’s first attempt to sell the residence.
Records show he previously tried to part with the property back in 2016 but ultimately kept ownership until now.
The four-bedroom condominium is located in a modern glass building designed by renowned architect Peter Marino.

It features an expansive living and dining area with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light.
The property’s kitchen showcases custom cabinetry designed by Marino himself and is finished with premium Swiss quartzite countertops.
Among the home’s notable features are two primary suites, each equipped with oversized walk-in closets and bathrooms finished in polished Italian marble.

The 53-year-old singer’s former residence also includes a flexible space that could serve multiple purposes, including a study, library, nursery, or media room, according to the listing held by Michael J. Franco of Compass.
Built in 2008, the 19-storey building contains 96 units and borders Carl Schurz Park on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

Residents enjoy access to extensive amenities including a fully-equipped gym, dedicated pilates and yoga studios, a squash court, and a golf simulator.
The building offers a lifestyle that combines luxury with convenience, featuring a screening room, an arcade, and a beautifully landscaped courtyard complete with a waterfall.
