Former Los Angeles Dodgers player Alex Guerrero has listed an under-construction spec home on Miami Beachโs prestigious North Bay Road for USD $75 million (approximately AUD $113 million).
Guerrero, who played for the Dodgers from 2013 to 2016, purchased the waterfront parcel for USD $13.6 million (around AUD $20.5 million) in 2023, according to property records.
The Cuban-born athlete-turned-developer has since made a name for himself building luxury homes in the area.
The estate, expected to be completed next year according to WSJ, will span approximately 10,250 square feet (around 952 square metres).
It will feature seven bedrooms and three kitchens, including a professional catering kitchen for entertaining, said listing agent Lourdes Alatriste of Douglas Elliman.
Plans also call for an outdoor kitchen, a heated infinity-edge pool, a hot tub, and a courtyard with a fire pit.
The roughly half-acre (2,023 sqm) property will include a dock that can accommodate a 90-foot yacht. The 18-car garage is designed with a sensor-triggered waterfall at its entrance, which will stop when a vehicle approaches.

โHe loves houses,โ Alatriste said. โHe was able to make his money when he was a baseball player, but heโs been able to maintain it because he builds really good houses.โ
Guerrero is listing the home before completion to allow a future buyer to tailor finishes or features to their liking.
โAt this level, sometimes they want something specific,โ Alatriste said.
Since retiring from professional baseball, Guerrero has focused on real estate development. One of his previous projects, a spec home on Palm Island, sold for more than USD $17 million (around AUD $25.6 million) in 2023.
This latest project targets what Guerrero considers the โmost prestigiousโ address in Miami, Alatriste said.

North Bay Road has become a magnet for the ultra-wealthy, with recent transactions including soccer star David Beckham and designer Victoria Beckham, who purchased a property there for USD $72.25 million (approx. AUD $109 million) in 2024. Developer Todd Michael Glaser and partners are also in contract to buy another home on the strip for USD $105 million (about AUD $158 million).

Guerreroโs move from the ballpark to the building site is shaping up to be just as headline-worthy as his sporting career โ and this latest listing signals heโs playing in the big leagues once again.
