Two established Cairns real estate businesses have merged to create REMAX Powerhouse, bringing together a newer boutique agency with a decades-old operation in Far North Queensland.
Powerhouse Property owners Kate Fern, Meaghan Confait and Michele Annison have partnered with Tony Williamson of REMAX Real Estate Services to form the combined office.
Kate said the merger allows the boutique firm to maintain its personalised service while accessing the resources of a larger network.
“As a boutique business, being able to continue to offer the individual service and support to our clients that we’ve been recognised for over the years, while being supported in our future growth is essential,” she said.
Tony will shift his focus to sales, training and development under the new structure.
“The level of combined local knowledge in the office is outstanding and coupled with the global reach that only REMAX has, this will be a combination of strengths,” Tony said.
Meaghan pointed to network access and training as key benefits of joining the franchise.
“The training available, the opportunity to use the brand, and ability to connect with the REMAX network will be valuable to our team,” she said.
Michele said the move supports team development alongside business growth.
“The opportunity to work alongside and learn from some of the industry’s best is really about supporting our team’s growth as much as our own as business owners,” Michele said.
REMAX Australia Managing Director Joel Davoren said the merger brings together two businesses with a shared focus on client outcomes.
“The Powerhouse team bring a strong focus on client outcomes and success, rather than just property transactions,” Joel said.
“REMAX was a strong performer in the Cairns market for many years, and we’re excited to see that momentum strengthen as these business leaders come together.”
REMAX Powerhouse operates from 112 Hoare Street, Manunda.
