Hosted by Sam Grover from Ray White Corporate, the awards recognised exceptional performance across the network and reflected on what has been a defining year for RWC.
Head of commercial James Linacre took the stage to reflect on the group’s record-breaking achievements, praising both the numbers and the mindset behind them.
“This has been our most successful year yet – and not just by the numbers,” Mr Linacre said.
“It’s about the mindset, the consistency, the clarity and the culture that’s taken root across our network.
โWe’ve seen strong growth in every area – sales, leasing, property management, valuations, projects – and from every corner of the country. With four new offices opening, RWC Tasmania, RWC MC, RWC Industrial City South and RWC The Collective, the entire network is moving forward with momentum.”
Mr Linacre noted the increased engagement from hundreds of individuals across the business – from training and strategy to marketing and leadership.
“We’re not just a group of offices anymore – we’re becoming a true national commercial force. A destination for top talent.”
Ray White Group managing director Dan White also addressed the room, opening with a heartfelt acknowledgment of the day’s earlier visit to the Crows Nest shed, the birthplace of the Ray White Group.
“It was special to return to our roots today.
โThe friendships we build, the way we challenge each other and the way we come together to celebrate success, that’s the whole point of tonight,” he said.
White gave special tribute to Tony Williams from Ray White Special Projects Queensland, who marked 35 years with the company.
“Tony’s contribution is remarkable,” he said.
“His father Leo played a huge role in my father Brian’s career. To see Tony continue that legacy with such impact is truly special.”
He also acknowledged the renewed energy across the Commercial group in recent years.
“The identity and commitment we’re seeing in this room is extraordinary. This is a group of business owners and leaders driving their own success every single day. We should be proud and take the time to truly celebrate it.”
The highest honour of the night, the Directors Cup, was awarded to Michael Shadforth, Chris Massie, and Ashley Rees from RWC Northern Corridor Group.
Mr Shadforth spoke on behalf of the team, saying, “We’re incredibly proud of our team and the energy they bring every day. Being part of the Ray White family and this network is a privilege.
RWC is absolutely the next big thing in commercial real estate, and we’re just getting started.”
Both Chris Massie and Ashley Rees echoed the sentiment, thanking their team and saying they were humbled to receive such a prestigious award.
Individual excellence was also recognised, with Andrew Jolliffe of HTL Property named the top sales and leasing performer across the network, followed closely by Daniel Dragicevich from HTL and Jackson Rameau from RWC Gold Coast.
Mr Jolliffe acknowledged the talent across the room.
“It’s such a dynamic market to work in, and sometimes, no matter your output, the market doesn’t always swing your way,” he said.
“That’s why I’m proud to be standing among such extraordinary performers. We all push and inspire each other.”
Jackson Rameau from RWC Gold Coast also took out the title of number one Auction Performer, capping off an impressive year.
The five top-performing offices across the network were HTL Property, RWC Valuations, RWC Gold Coast, RWC Northern Corridor Group, and RWC Western Sydney.
Scott Stephens of RWC Sydney North was recognised as the top performer for number of transactions, while the Transaction of the Year was awarded to Peter Vines, Victor Sheu, and Ian Hetherington for their standout $80 million sale of 3 Figtree Drive and 6 Herb Elliot Avenue in Sydney Olympic Park.
“We celebrate tonight, and tomorrow, we plan for the future,” Mr Linacre said in closing.
“Because what we’ve built together is just the beginning.”
