RWC has announced the appointment of James Linacre as Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant new chapter for the commercial network as it continues its international expansion and performance trajectory.
The appointment follows a period of sustained growth and strategic evolution across the RWC platform.
Joining the Ray White family in early 2022 as business development executive, Mr Linacre quickly ascended to Head of Commercial for the group.
Since joining, he has played a central role in strengthening the network’s recruitment pipeline, lifting capability across member businesses and sharpening the group’s market positioning.
In his time within the commercial business, Mr Linacre has been instrumental in expanding the network through targeted recruitment of high-quality operators and a renewed focus on skill development.
The growth has not only increased the footprint of RWC nationally, but has also strengthened the depth and capability of its leading businesses.
“Between the White family and the senior leadership group, Ray White is truly a special place to work and develop professionally, and to be entrusted with leading our commercial business is an honour I do not take lightly,” Mr Linacre said.
“Ray White began 125 years ago with commercial real estate as its foundation. That history matters. It reminds us that growth is not simply about scale, but about stewardship, professionalism and helping our members build enduring businesses.
“Our ambition remains clear. We will continue to expand thoughtfully, attract the best operators in the market and invest in the capability of our people so they can outperform in their respective markets.”
Dan White, Managing Director of Ray White Group, said Mr Linacre’s elevation to CEO reflects the commitment he has shown to our members and his ambition to keep developing.
“James has created significant momentum in our commercial network. The quality of his leadership has been evidenced in the talent he has attracted, his impact on our collective performance and development, and the shared spirit of our members”, Mr White said.
“He is very deserving of this opportunity, and I know how determined he is to take Ray White Commercial into its next horizon of growth.”
The appointment signals a continued commitment to disciplined expansion, strong leadership and a sharpened focus on helping members build market-leading commercial real estate businesses across Asia Pacific.
