Reece Pilgrim’s journey to Ray White Burnside ownership

Ray White Burnside is proud to announce that elite performer Reece Pilgrim has officially joined his brother Brandon Pilgrim and Jason Spagnuolo as a business owner, marking a significant milestone in both his personal journey and the office's continued growth.

Reece’s path to ownership began in 2020 when he first stepped into the Ray White family under Jason Spagnuolo’s expert guidance.

Reece started at Ray White Norwood which was instrumental in shaping his career.

“Coming from a small country town, I set my sights from day one on becoming both a leader and an Elite agent,” Reece reflected. The transition to Adelaide’s competitive real estate market wasn’t without its hurdles, but these challenges became the foundation of his character and professional development.

“Along the way, I faced my fair share of challenges, character building moments but I’ll always be grateful for that as they have shaped me into the person I am today,” he said.

These formative experiences taught him resilience, determination, and the value of perseverance in an industry where success demands both skill and tenacity.

One particular moment stands out vividly in Reece’s memory: his very first auction, conducted just two months into his real estate career.

“At the time, I relied heavily on a strong market to make up for my lack of experience,” he admits with honesty. “But diving into the deep end without a safety net taught me lessons I’ll carry for life.” That early trial by fire instilled in him the confidence to tackle any challenge and the wisdom to continuously learn and adapt.

The journey from newcomer to business owner represents years of dedication, learning and growth. The family and professional bonds that began at Ray White Norwood have now evolved into a powerful partnership at Ray White Burnside.

“Today, I’m proud to stand alongside my mentor and brother as business partners, working together to build a stronger future for Ray White Burnside,” Reece said. This unique dynamic brings together Jason’s industry expertise, Brandon’s established relationships, and Reece’s fresh perspective and drive, a combination that promises exciting developments for the business.

The new ownership structure reflects a shared commitment to excellence and growth.

“We’re committed to bringing the right people into our office, and watching that growth unfold is what excites me most,” Reece said. This focus on team building and talent development aligns with Ray White’s broader mission of fostering success at every level.

Looking toward the future, the ownership trio has ambitious but achievable goals.

Their vision is to “solidify the Ray White name across Adelaide’s eastern and inner southern suburbs, empower our team to achieve their goals, and create a business that attracts and nurtures high-performing talent”.

This expansion strategy combines geographic growth with professional development, ensuring that Ray White Burnside becomes not just a larger presence in the market, but a destination for ambitious real estate professionals seeking mentorship, opportunity, and success.

Brandon Pilgrim shared his excitement about the new partnership: “Watching Reece’s journey from day one has been incredibly rewarding. He’s always had that hunger for success and leadership, but seeing him develop into the professional he is today makes me proud as both his brother and business partner. His fresh perspective and relentless drive will be invaluable as we take Ray White Burnside to the next level. Having family in business together creates a unique trust and shared vision that I believe will be a real strength for our team and clients.”

Jason Spagnuolo reflects on his mentee’s transformation: “When Reece first walked through our doors in 2020, I could see the potential immediately, the determination, the willingness to learn, and that country work ethic that’s so rare to find. Mentoring him has been one of the highlights of my career, and watching him grow from that nervous agent at his first auction to the confident leader he is today has been remarkable. He’s earned this ownership through hard work, resilience, and genuine care for his clients. I couldn’t be more excited to have him join us in steering this business forward.”

Reece Pilgrim’s elevation to ownership represents more than a business transaction, it’s a testament to the power of mentorship, family support, and unwavering determination. His story from small-town dreamer to Adelaide business owner embodies the Ray White values of growth, excellence, and community that will continue driving Ray White Burnside’s success.

Ray White South Australian CEO, Matt Lindblom said he was thrilled to welcome Reeceโ€™s leadership to the award winning business.

“The Ray White Burnside business is one of continued curiosity, ambition and excellence in all facets of real estate, whether that be the results and experience for their clients, applying Ray Whiteโ€™s unique technology for the betterment of their customers, and having a great office environment where all team members can enjoy and thrive,” he said.

โ€œI look forward to seeing Reece, Brandon, Jason and the whole Ray White Burnside team surpass the high standards that they have set for themselves, as they continue to excel and flourish in Adelaideโ€™s luxury real estate market place.โ€
