Daniel Ferris has opened RE/MAX’s first office in Queensland’s Western Downs region, marking the network’s expansion into the agricultural heartland.
RE/MAX Heartland Real Estate officially opened in Dalby this week, with Daniel transitioning from agent to broker-owner after joining the network in late 2024.
“I have a real drive to succeed in whatever I put my energy into,” Daniel said.
“Through connecting with people and the community, real estate came very naturally to me.”
Daniel’s path to business ownership began in property management, where he progressed to supervising more than 700 properties within three years. He moved into sales in early 2024, seeking to broaden his experience.
“I want RE/MAX Heartland Real Estate to be known as the real estate agency that has the community at its heart,” he said.
The office will operate across both property management and sales, with local agent Donna Cook joining as part of the team.
Donna, who has worked with Daniel previously, said their complementary skills made the partnership a natural fit.
“I always admired his rapport with buyers and sellers,” she said.
“Combining this strong communication and his energy with my attention to detail and local knowledge, we could make a strong team.”
RE/MAX Australia Managing Director Joel Davoren said the Dalby opening reflects the brand’s continued growth.
“It is always fantastic to see our network members take the opportunity to build their business with the brand,” Joel said.
