Ray White Western Australia celebrates a year of excellence

The Ray White Western Australia network came together for a glittering evening of celebration at its annual awards night, honouring the outstanding achievements of its top-performing offices and individuals across the state.

The night was masterfully hosted by Kelly Tatlow and Gayle Fitzmaurice from the Ray White WA corporate team, bringing together energy, humour, and heartfelt pride in what the group had accomplished over the past year.

Opening the evening, Ray White WA CEO Mark Whiteman and Ray White Group managing director Dan White delivered powerful addresses that reflected on the challenges, resilience, and record-breaking successes of the network.

“Our company’s mantra is to be proud of every transaction and tonight I can say I’m proud of everyone of you and grateful for the way you have represented our family group,” Mr Whiteman said.

“Leadership is at the core of everything we do. Organisations reflect the leader or leaders and Ray White Western Australia has by far the very best leaders in the form of our business owners, general managers and department heads. Thank you for setting such a high standard and for leading your teams so well.”

Mr White said he was incredibly proud of what had been done in Western Australia, not just by taking advantage of the marketing opportunities but by growing the presence of Ray White, far and wide.

“It has been a strong year right across the group. We will not get complacent though, and will work together to ensure that our best days are still ahead of us,” Mr White said.

“Our commitment to you is that we provide the springboard to ensure that our group keeps getting stronger. We are so fortunate to have Mark Whiteman leading our Western Australia network, a person of deep integrity.”

A major highlight of the night was the presentation of the inaugural Ross Whiteman Award, an accolade honouring the individual who made the most significant impact on the Ray White Western Australia group.

The prestigious award was presented to Mike Tucker of Ray White Stocker Preston, in recognition of his extraordinary leadership, service, and long-standing commitment to excellence with Ross Whiteman and Mark Whiteman).

“Mike Tucker has demonstrated and embodied everything we hold dear as a family group. Leadership, courage, discipline and care, not only for the people in his business but for this group. He genuinely wants to help everyone in the group to be their best, not just his own business,” Mr Whiteman said.

“His impact on the footprint of this group in Western Australia particularly in our famous south west is for all to see.

“Still a very young man, he is a shining example of what is possible in a career, from Chairman’s Elite performer to outstanding multi-office business owner, his best is still yet to come and we look forward to supporting him into the future.”

Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont once again proved its dominance, taking home the award for Top Office for Settled Commission, marking their seventh consecutive year of holding this prestigious title. Its principal, Vivien Yap, also took out Top Principal for Settled Commission.

Ms Yap said the entire team is so grateful to continue the winning streak, which is only made possible by true dedication and teamwork.

“We have always believed that anything is possible when we have the relentless and unwavering support of our work family, the extended Ray White family and our wonderful clients. I am so humbled and so grateful,” Ms Yap said.

Another standout on the night was Stephen Cole of Ray White Broome, who walked away with dual honours as Top Salesperson for Settled Commission and Top Salesperson for Number of Sales, reflecting both his outstanding results and client service.

Shahbaj Brar, Principal of Ray White BPG, was named Top Principal for Number of Sales, a testament to his leadership and the strength of his team’s performance.

The Top Office Group for Settled Commission was awarded to Ray White Stocker Preston, while Ray White Geraldton | Dongara earned the title of Top Office for Number of Sales, showcasing their continued excellence in both volume and value across the year.

In the property management sector, Ray White Karratha was recognised for its outstanding results as the Top Office for Performance, while Ray White Rockingham | Baldivis was awarded Top Property Management Office for Net Growth.

Individual excellence in property management was also celebrated, with Adriana Bilicich from Ray White Carnarvon named Property Manager of the Year, and Doug Corby from Ray White Rockingham | Baldivis took home the title of Property Management BDM of the Year.

A touching moment during the evening was the presentation of Life Membership to Michael Smart and Karen Smart, recognising their 32 years of service to the Ray White family and the wider real estate community.

“Michael and Karen have been with us the entire journey. They have built a first-class business and represented Ray White with a plum for 32 years, but more than this, they have helped many of us along the way,” Mr Whiteman said.

“They have always given back and are the first to put their hand up to volunteer and support their people and their colleagues across the group.

“The ultimate compliment for any organisation is when someone endorses it to their family. Bringing their son Cameron and daughter-in-law Aimee through and succeeding to them is their crowning achievement.”

The night was made possible thanks to the generous support of sponsors PrintForce, Excel, and Devon Conveyancing & Legal, whose ongoing partnership helped bring the event to life.

As the Ray White Western Australia network continues to grow, the annual awards night served as a powerful reminder of the passion, innovation, and dedication that drive the group’s ongoing success.
