Christian Hamilton and Mitch Peereboom have acquired Ray White Main Beach from Michael Willems, who will stay on as a sales agent rather than continue in an ownership role.
The deal expands the pair’s footprint to three offices across Queensland, adding Main Beach to their existing operations in Surfers Paradise and Wilston in Brisbane’s inner north.
Willems, a long-standing Ray White member, said the transition lets him return to client-facing work.
“I’m excited to get back to what I love most – working closely with clients and delivering results,” Michael said.
Hamilton and Peereboom operate as non-selling principals, a model they say allows them to focus entirely on agent development rather than splitting attention between leadership and personal sales.
“We specialise in putting people in positions where they can truly thrive,” Mitch said.
“For Michael, that’s in sales. For us, it’s in leadership. We are non-selling principals, which allows us to dedicate our time to supporting our agents and helping them achieve success at the highest level.”
Christian described Willems as one of the best operators in the business.
“His ability to lead by example through performance is second to none,” he said. “As we like to say, ‘be like Mike.'”
The Main Beach office sits on Tedder Avenue in the suburb’s village centre. While sharing a postcode with Surfers Paradise, Main Beach has a distinct profile – more owner-occupiers, premium properties, and an older demographic than its neighbour.
“It’s a tightly held, community-driven market, and that’s something we really value,” Mitch said.
Christian noted similarities with their Wilston operation.
“It’s the kind of place where locals gather, where relationships matter, and where people genuinely enjoy being part of the community.”
The pair report approximately 90 per cent year-on-year growth in agent performance since taking on leadership roles, though specific timeframes and baseline figures weren’t provided.
“Our entire model is centred around the agent experience,” Christian said.
“We’re not selling with leadership on the side – we’re fully focused on coaching, mentoring, and creating an environment where agents can succeed, whatever success looks like to them.”
Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew said the acquisition strengthens the network’s presence in an established coastal market.
“Christian and Mitch have consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and a genuine commitment to their people,” Jason said.
“The fact that an operator of Michael Willems’ calibre has chosen to work with Mitch and Christian tells you all you need to know about their leadership capability.”
The group has indicated there is capacity in the Main Beach office for additional agents.
