This exciting milestone aligns with Ray White Canberra’s mission of being the best place on the planet to build a career in real estate.
Both Jake and Alec have risen through the ranks, starting as salespeople and progressing into management and leadership roles.
They will now take on the responsibility for the continued growth of the residential sales business at Ray White Canberra.
The Ray White Canberra Residential Team currently sells one in every nine homes across the region and has grown significantly from a three-person operation to over 120 people.
They sell more than 1000 properties a year and manage more than 3500 rentals.
Chairman Ben Faulks expressed his enthusiasm, reflecting on Mr Battenallyโs journey from a work experience participant and receptionist to becoming a shareholder, Chairman’s Elite agent, and now taking on a senior leadership role.
“Jake is one of the most wonderful human beings I’ve ever met,” Mr Faulks said.
“He’s down-to-earth and humble, almost to a fault.
โHowever, he also has a passion and ambition within him that captures the energy and enthusiasm of those around him.
โWe know that Jake’s leadership journey has only just begun.”
Regarding Mr Brown, Mr Faulks said: “Alec brings a huge amount of energy to everything that he does.
โHe’s one of the most accomplished auctioneers in the country and leads from a space of absolute excellence and the highest possible professional standards.
โHis journey with us has been inspiring as he reclaimed his market leadership as an agent, but has now grown to contribute significantly more as a mentor and leader within the team.”
“Both Jake and Alec will continue as high-performing salespeople, running teams, and creating pathways for associates.”
They will be supported by the Residential Sales leadership group, which has expanded to include newly created associate director roles for Nathan Wood and Treston Bamber.
Long-term Ray White Canberra staff member Georgie Parry remains the engine room of the Residential Sales business with her Customer Care team, and the decades of dedication from Troy Reddick and Scott Jackson remains essential to the fabric of our commitment to the customer experience.
Dan White, Ray White Group Managing Director, said he was thrilled to see Jake and Alec step into leadership roles at Ray White Canberra.
โTheir energy, ambition and deep commitment to developing great people is exactly what our network needs for the future,โ he said.
โRay White Canberra has always been a place of innovation and growth, and this next chapter under Jake and Alecโs leadership will be no different.โ
