Emma Chapman has been appointed director of Ray White Bathurst after building the office’s property management department alongside property management specialist Carla Press over the past three years.
Ms Chapman will work alongside principals Stephen and Kathie Townsend, who retain ownership of the business.
“Having watched her build our property management department from the ground up over the last three years, Kathie and I have seen firsthand her relentless work ethic and her ‘reputation-first’ philosophy,” Stephen said.
Ms Chapman pointed to recent results in The Reserve Windradyne estate as evidence of the team’s momentum.
“We were the sole local agency successfully selling properties in the estate for a significant period,” she said.
“This success, including a single deal of 16 lots valued at over $6.2 million, helped turn around public perception and generate strong momentum for the development.”
The office has sold more than $8.3 million worth of land in the estate since March last year.
Ms Chapman said combining local knowledge with Ray White’s broader network gives sellers an advantage.
“Bathurst is very local-focused, and we are proud locals ourselves,” she said.
“This local expertise, combined with the Ray White network’s capacity to attract city buyers, provides a unique competitive edge for sellers.”
Before entering real estate, Ms Chapman worked in sales at Mercedes-Benz in Orange.
She grew up in the rural areas around Blayney and Lyndhurst and holds a Bachelor of Business degree.
The Ray White Bathurst team includes six people, among them Ms Chapman’s sister Shannon as a sales associate.
Ray White NSW/ACT CEO Tim Snell said Chapman’s appointment reflects her recent results.
“Her transition into the role of director at Bathurst is a testament to her success in the local market, particularly her recent results in The Reserve Windradyne estate,” he said.
