Knight Frank has strengthened its South Australian presence with the appointment of Patrick Bush as Director, Office Leasing in Adelaide.
Mr Bush returns to Knight Frank after starting his career at the firm in 2016 as an Assistant Commercial Valuer, bringing with him almost a decade of industry experience.
His appointment expands Knight Frank’s Adelaide office leasing team to four, joining Partner and Head of Office Leasing Martin Potter, Director Office Leasing Rory Dyus, and Senior Leasing Executive Catherine Silverlock.
Prior to rejoining Knight Frank, Mr Bush worked at MRS Property as a Senior Consultant, and before that at JLL, where he progressed from leasing executive to Senior Leasing Executive.
Throughout his career, Mr Bush has developed into a trusted specialist in the office leasing market, negotiating transactions on behalf of landlords and tenants both nationally and internationally.
Knight Frank Partner and Head of Office Leasing Martin Potter expressed enthusiasm about the new appointment.
“Patrick has extensive experience and expertise in Adelaide’s office leasing market, and is highly respected,” Mr Potter said.
“We are thrilled to welcome him back to Knight Frank, and to grow our office leasing team at a time where we are experiencing improving sentiment in Adelaide’s CBD office market.”
Mr Potter said that recent data from the Property Council shows Adelaide was one of the only cities to see a fall in the CBD office vacancy rate over the first half of the year, with positive momentum expected to continue.
“Tenants are active across the board and we are seeing prime rental growth in particular due to the ongoing flight to quality, which is expected to continue until 2028,” he said.
Mr Bush shared his enthusiasm about returning to Knight Frank and his new role.
“I am looking forward to strengthening the office leasing team in Knight Frank’s Adelaide office and delivering exceptional service to our current and future clients,” Mr Bush said.
