Laing+Simmons has opened a new office in Sydney’s north west under the experienced guidance of agent Nitin Puri.
The new Laing+Simmons Oakville|Windsor office will serve customers across a broad suburban patch including Bligh Park, Pitt Town, Pitt Town Bottoms, Maraylya, Oakville, Windsor and South Windsor.
Mr Puri, who is the Principal of the new family business, says the area is attracting first home buyers due to relatively affordable price points, as well as upgraders looking for larger homes and developers capitalising on land sale opportunities.
“Recent rezonings have opened the door for a significant increase in off-the-plan development opportunities, house and land packages and land sales,” Mr Puri said.
“New developments are nevertheless predominantly low density, in keeping with the dominant freestanding housing typology which characterises the area.”
The region remains suited to owner-occupiers who prioritise space and lifestyle, with plenty of choice for first home buyers and larger homes for upgraders.
“We are even seeing investors increasingly attracted to the area, with rental returns at the point where people can secure neutrally-geared investment opportunities,” he said.
In addition to residential services, Laing+Simmons Oakville|Windsor will provide commercial property services to local people and businesses, responding to growing demand from commercial occupiers as the local economy strengthens.
Recruitment is a focus for the early new year, with Mr Puri already in discussions with local sales agents and property managers to boost his growing team.
He intends to offer an organisational culture that puts people – especially the customer – above all else.
“More than ever, real estate is a people business. We can never lose sight of this truth, particularly as we navigate the changing local market,” Mr Puri said.
“This is what makes the Laing+Simmons brand the ideal partner for us, as we look to grow and cement a leading position at this exciting time for the local market.”
Laing+Simmons Head of People & Growth Jacqui Barnes said the addition of Laing+Simmons Oakville|Windsor is the first of numerous new offices set to join the expanding boutique network in 2026.
“Nitin and his team are proven quality operators with a strong natural connection to our people-first brand and values, and an ambitious commitment to long-term growth alongside the community they serve,” Ms Barnes said.
“This is what makes a successful Laing+Simmons office.”
“With another two new offices soon to open next month, we are excited to see the Laing+Simmons brand and value proposition continue to resonate with high-profile and high-calibre local experts in different markets, and we look forward to another year of strong network growth in 2026.”
