A prominent real estate office in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD has become the latest to join the revitalised Professionals network, following the membership group’s major business transformation in May.
Professionals Adelaide City, led by principal Jing Wang, officially launched under the new branding and overhaul of the group’s operation on July 1, joining four other agencies across three states in making the switch.
Ms Wang, who leads a multicultural team of 17 in sales, commercial and property management, brings a unique background to the sector.
“I was familiar with the Professionals brand, and the transition was seamless with their support,” Ms Wang said.
Ms Wang said the timing was perfect, with Professionals itself undergoing a major transformation.
“It’s an exciting time to come onboard and share in the momentum of Professionals’ new direction.
“The supportive, collaborative culture really appeals to me, and the fresh branding looks fantastic โ it’s modern, clean and classic,” she said.
Arriving in Australia as a journalist in 2005, Ms Wang initially aimed to launch a Chinese-language newspaper in Adelaide before discovering her passion for real estate.
Starting as a property manager in 2009, she opened her own business in 2015 and is now the sole principal at Professionals Adelaide City.
“I didn’t choose real estate – it chose me. But I love the industry,” Ms Wang said. “I treasure the trust I build with my clients and feel a real responsibility to support them.”
Ms Wang and her team manage a substantial rent roll, including some of the largest apartment buildings in Adelaide’s centre.
“With the change to Professionals, we hope to continue expanding our management arm while substantially growing sales,” she said.
Ms Wang said she was attracted by the flexibility and independence offered by the Professionals membership model.
“Switching to Professionals has given me more independence to grow my business, while enjoying the benefits of a supportive network,” she said.
“It’s not as competitive amongst other Professionals offices; I am enjoying the supportive atmosphere. I am able to make my own decisions, but I can exchange ideas with others in the Professionals group, and that’s something that really appeals to me.”
Professionals CEO Sean Hanneberry welcomed Ms Wang and her team, describing the move as a strategic boost for the group’s presence in South Australia.
“The Adelaide CBD is a key market because it combines strong, consistent growth for both investors and home buyers,” Mr Hanneberry said.
“Jing and her high-achieving team join us at a pivotal moment in our transformation. Her expertise and commitment to excellence bolsters Professionals’ position in the heart of Adelaide.
“We look forward to supporting the team’s ambitious plans for continued growth in this vibrant market.”
The Professionals rebrand is rolling out across the group’s 190 offices throughout Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea, with every agency set to unveil the new look by the end of the year.
