Developer Caudwell has unveiled the new show apartment at Le Provenรงal, featuring interior design inspired by the “Queen of Jazz,” the vibrant Jazz-ร -Juan Festival, and the “Riviera Golden Years” of the 1960s.
The three-bedroom apartment spans 2,172 square feet of living space with an additional 562 square feet of private terraces, including a covered loggia with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Located at the gateway to Cap d’Antibes, Le Provenรงal was originally built in 1926-27 as Hรดtel Provenรงal by architect Lucien Stable for American millionaire Frank Jay Gould.
The landmark building has now been transformed into a luxury residential address with a development value exceeding ยฃ300 million.
The property has an illustrious history of hosting royalty and A-list celebrities, including jazz legends Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

Fitzgerald first visited in July 1960 for the inaugural Jazz-ร -Juan music festival and returned multiple times throughout the decade.
During the 1960 festival Fitzgerald stayed at Le Provenรงal, then the most fashionable hotel in Antibes, conveniently located directly adjacent to the festival’s seaside stage and a favourite Riviera haunt of Fitzgerald’s friend Marilyn Monroe.
In 1963, Fitzgerald famously gave an impromptu performance from her hotel room window for fans who gathered outside hoping to see her.

The “First Lady of Song” performed again at Jazz-ร -Juan in 1964 and 1967, during which she sang with Duke Ellington’s band alongside Louis Armstrong.
According to the listing, the newly unveiled apartment features a colour palette inspired by the French Riviera’s natural beauty, with warm tones and gold accents that reflect the jazz scene associated with music legends who visited Le Provenรงal.
The design creates “beautifully dressed living spaces which form a harmonious juxtaposition of vibrant features such as sofa scatter cushions in chocolate brown, colourful contemporary artwork and a dark gold feature wall to the reception room, alongside bedroom cushions in rich purples and dark gold.”

The apartment spans the entire depth of the building, with south-facing rooms offering views over the landscaped gardens and the Mediterranean, while north-facing bedrooms overlook the Alps.
Le Provenรงal now comprises 35 residences, including lateral apartments, penthouses, and villas, all with secure garaging.
The adjacent five-star Hรดtel Belles Rives manages the property, providing residents with concierge services, valet parking, and privileged access to the hotel’s amenities, including a Michelin-starred restaurant and private beach club.
