Belize Property, the agency holding the record for the four highest property sales in Jacobs Well, has joined the Harcourts network and will open a second office in Ormeau.
The agency, founded by Trish and Nathan Pearman in 2017, will rebrand as Harcourts Belize Group – Jacobs Well, with the Ormeau location to follow.
Trish Pearman, who has worked in real estate since 2003, said franchising wasn’t part of the original plan.
“Franchising was never really going to be an option for our business, and we had the skills to succeed independently,” she said.
“However, after sitting down with the Harcourts team, we realised just how closely aligned our values were. It wasn’t about losing our identity, but about gaining a partner to help us grow with purpose.”
The Pearmans built their reputation in the Gold Coast hinterland community through a combination of sales results and local involvement, sponsoring events including Paint the Town Country, Community Christmas Carols, and the Rocky Point Rural Fire Brigade.
Harcourts Queensland CEO Andrew Friebe said the partnership was a natural fit.
“Their commitment to their community and their unwavering focus on people over transactions aligns perfectly with the Harcourts values,” Friebe said.
Trish Pearman said their connection to the area underpins their approach.
“We’re passionate about where we live, and that passion makes it easy to sell,” she said.
“The people here are the salt of the earth – welcoming, genuine, and proud of where they live.”
The Ormeau office opening date has not been announced.
