Nikoletta Virag and Deepanshu (Deep) Solanki have taken ownership of Ray White Tea Tree Gully, bringing international hospitality experience and years of local market knowledge to Adelaide’s northeastern corridor.
The couple, who live in nearby Modbury with their young daughter, represent Ray White’s continued investment in owner-operators with deep community ties. Deep has spent six years selling across Adelaide’s northeast, while Nikoletta brings more than 20 years of international hospitality management experience, including senior operations roles with Hilton in Scotland.
Their path to Adelaide office ownership began in Scotland, where Nikoletta was Deep’s manager at a hospitality job.
“I used to be his boss,” Nikoletta said. “He resigned over a coffee, and I realised he was serious. He was persistent, committed, and I couldn’t say no. He was not leaving me alone.”
The pair married in India in 2013 and moved to Australia in 2017, settling in Adelaide for its lifestyle and diversity.
Deep said the ambition to build his own business had been with him for years, and a conversation with Ray White South Australia CEO Matt Lindblom around a year ago set things in motion.
“I always wanted to do business, and Ray White is the perfect partner for us, with their well-advanced technology for our clients, expert training, marketing and trusted market share”, Deep said.
“This area is so special. It has the old-school community feel, great schools, a strong international mix and the beauty of the hills. We live here, we love it here, and we want to help people find what we found.”
The Tea Tree Gully market draws a mix of long-term residents, international buyers, and developers seeking land opportunities. The team also includes sales associate Subh Singh, who joins the principals in serving the northeastern corridor.
Nikoletta will oversee operations and the property management division, applying her hospitality background to client service.
Matt Lindblom said the new principals embody what the brand looks for in franchise owners.
“Nikoletta and Deep are exactly the kind of people you want representing the Ray White brand,” “They’re genuine, hardworking and really connected to their community. They’re going to do great things in Tea Tree Gully.”
Ray White Tea Tree Gully is located at 1303 North East Road, Tea Tree Gully SA 5091.
