Movers and Shakers

Frazer Yule and Daniel Clyde-Smith join Laing+Simmons Armidale ownership

Two long-term sales team members have taken ownership stakes in the award-winning Laing+Simmons Armidale office following a record June performance.

Laing+Simmons Armidale has welcomed two new co-owners as the award-winning office eyes future growth in FY26 and beyond.

Long-term sales team members Frazer Yule and Daniel Clyde-Smith have taken ownership stakes in the business, joining husband and wife team Lachie and Cara Sewell as co-owners of the prominent local office.

The ownership deal was finalised after a bumper month of June, which saw the team sell 17 homes and achieve a 50 per cent share of listings in the Armidale market.

The new owners, together with Mr Sewell, form the backbone of Armidale’s leading real estate sales team, while Mrs Sewell continues to oversee the office’s growing property management business.

Mr Sewell said the strong performance sets the scene for a promising start to the new financial year.

“It’s through the hard work of the team that we’ve managed to carve out a dominant share of our local market and with Frazer and Daniel’s new commitment to Laing+Simmons Armidale, we’ll be doubling down on our customer focus as we look to continue our growth,” Mr Sewell said.

“This means working closely with our vendors to understand their needs and come up with the right strategy to communicate the value proposition of their property in the most effective way.”

The team works with buyers not just from the local area but from across New South Wales and interstate, leveraging the extensive networks of team members who have experience in diverse markets.

“The Armidale region remains on the radar of many Sydneysiders awaiting the right opportunity to make a lifestyle change,” Mr Sewell said.

Both Mr Yule and Mr Clyde-Smith have been with the team for several years and have consistently demonstrated the customer-first approach the office prides itself on.

“More than ever, in a competitive environment, agents need to deliver the best possible customer experience and focus on the people aspects of the property transaction,” Mr Sewell said.

“Thankfully, this comes naturally to both new owners, and it’s an approach which will continue to underpin our growth in the future.”
