Double the impact to tackle homelessness

Bunnings to support A Home for All Foundation and A Night Without Home campaign with matched donations this Wednesday.

Australia and New Zealand’s leading retailer of home improvement and lifestyle products, Bunnings, will match the first $20,000 in donations made to A Night Without Home, the inaugural campaign of property industry led A Home for All Foundation, this Wednesday.

REA Group will also match an additional $10,000 in donations, taking the total matched donations to $30,000.

Bunnings Managing Director, Mike Schneider, said Bunnings is committed to supporting the communities in which it operates.

“We know homelessness is an increasing problem that impacts thousands of people every night right across the country,” he said.

“Day to day, our local stores support homelessness services and community groups around Australia. It’s a privilege to extend this helping hand and match donations made to the A Night Without Home Campaign.”

A Home for All Foundation Advisory Committee Chair, Christine Mikhael, said Bunnings’ contribution would support the Foundation’s goal to build long-term change for people experiencing homelessness.

“Thanks to the participation of passionate people across the property industry, and the incredible generosity of those who have donated, the Home for All campaign has so far raised more than $800,000. Bunnings is a strong supporter of local communities, and we’re delighted that such an iconic Australian brand has joined our industry to back the cause as we rally to reach our fundraising goal,” she said.

“Thanks to Bunnings and REA Group, donations made today will go twice as far, up to a total of$30,000. A $10 donation becomes $20, a $100 donation becomes $200, making it the perfect time to donate.”

A Home for All Foundation launched in September to galvanise the property industry’s support of those impacted by homelessness.

In recent weeks the Foundation announced that its funding focus throughout 2026 will see all funds directed towards supporting people experiencing homelessness due to domestic and family violence.

A Night Without Home asks individuals or teams to spend one night in the shoes of someone facing homelessness, with a range of challenges to choose from.

Participation could be a single donation, spending a night without the comforts of home and fundraising for the cause, or supporting the Foundation through corporate initiatives like matched giving.
